Many of us have personal goals and aspirations that we have yet to realize. Sometimes, those dreams can seem so far off, that we get stranded by the mere thought of accomplishing them. That is not what God wants for our lives. He does not want to see us so caught up in our circumstances that we begin to believe our promises are unobtainable.

Instead, He wants us to trust in Him to guide us toward our goals. In order to overcome this problem of stagnation, we have to start taking steps in faith toward our dream destination. Stop allowing life to paralyze you and keep you from moving toward your dreams. Whether it's the ideal relationship, a career change, or a whole new life, make up your mind to take a step toward accomplishing that goal.

My wife, Shaun and I took a step closer to one of our goals this week. We officially started our life and relationship coaching business. And while we are still a long way from realizing the success that we know it will bring, we are one step closer. Always remember, that any journey you embark upon, no matter how long or daunting, always starts with one step.
